Art inspired by nature, construction, and the human experience.
Born in 1941 in Marseilles France. My mother, two sisters, and I escaped the invading Nazis by fleeing to Spain on foot. I came to America in 1943. I have been married for over sixty years to my lovely wife Barbara and have four adult children and nine grandchildren. I have loved creating art since I was a young boy. I have lived mostly in South Florida where I started a construction company and retired in 2010 to pursue my love of art using mixed materials that combine natural elements like sand and sea shells with building materials such as nails, hardware, and resins. The art I make is a representation of the things I love (fishing, music, forests, science fiction) and the experiences I have had in my career as a builder and my travels around the world.
I am so proud that the art pieces that I create seem to resonate with others. I have received several art awards and participated in many art shows. One of my solo exhibits was at Florida International University. I am currently represented in two galleries, Sher Gallery Gulfstream and Ocean Gallery Ormond Beach.
